When you add a new insurance plan in Dentrix Ascend, a default coverage table is automatically assigned to the plan. A coverage table references the procedures that a plan covers and either the percentage covered or the patient copayment. You can and will want to edit that coverage table. Along with deductibles and benefits, a coverage table allows for accurate insurance estimates.
