The longer you use Ascend, the more documents collect in your patient’s Document Manager. It’s easy enough to find things when there are only a few documents, but as patient information grows it is important to manage document tags to help you quickly find the documents you are looking for. Using tags in Dentrix Ascend is like putting your documents into folders to keep them organized.

- Managing document tags requires the “Manage Document Tags” security right.
- Some documents, like patient forms, billing statements, eligibilities, and EOBs, are tagged automatically when Dentrix Ascend adds them to a patient’s Document Manager.
