If your practice has multiple locations, you need to be aware that while services are provided in a specific location, payments can be accepted in any location. Because Dentrix Ascend keeps patients in a central database, it doesn’t care where services are provided or where payment is received.
If your locations have separate Tax IDs or do their banking in separate banks, then payments need to be deposited where the service was rendered for you to have the cash to pay your providers. To make any bank transfers needed, therefore, you need a reconciliation report that shows you where payments were received.
