The following security rights have been added to control the managing of custom imaging procedures in Dentrix Ascend Imaging:
- Manage Own Custom Imaging Exams – Allows the user to create, edit, and delete custom imaging procedures associated with his/her own user account.
- For new customers, this right is granted to the “Administrator” and “Provider” roles by default.
- For existing customers, this right is granted to roles that already have both of these two rights: “Acquire Patient Images” and “Delete Patient Images.”
- Manage Location’s Custom Imaging Exams – Allows the user to create, edit, and delete custom imaging procedures associated with the currently selected location.
- For new customers, this right is granted to the “Administrator” and “Provider” roles by default.
- For existing customers, this right is granted to roles that already have both of these two rights: “Acquire Patient Images” and “Delete Patient Images.”
- Manage Organization’s Custom Imaging Exams – Allows the user to create, edit, and delete custom imaging procedures associated with the entire organization.
- For new customers, this right is granted to the “Administrator” role by default.
- For existing customers, this right is granted to roles that already have both of these two rights: “Acquire Patient Images” and “Delete Patient Images.”
