Previously, procedure codes for a quadrant, arch, or sextant could not be included in a multi-code. Now, multi-code can include procedure codes for any treatment area.
Setting up
When you are adding or editing a multi-code, when you search for a procedure to add to the multi-code, all active procedures that match your search criteria are available for selection (those with treatment areas of arch, quadrant, or sextant are no longer excluded from the search results).
Posting
- To chart the multi-code, you must select a tooth or range of teeth.
- To post/complete a procedure with a treatment area of arch, quadrant, or sextant that was scheduled by selecting the multi-code, you must specify a tooth or range of teeth.
