Now, Dentrix Ascend allows you to quickly and easily know if a payer supports Eligibility Essentials, Eligibility Pro, or both.
When you are manually verifying insurance coverage and requesting on-demand eligibility statuses on the Insurance Eligibility page (Schedule > Insurance Eligibility), notice the following:
- If a payer supports both standard and enhanced responses, the Essentials and Pro links are available.
- If a payer does not support standard responses, the Essentials link is not available, but it is visible. If you position your pointer over the “i” icon, a tooltip with the text “Not Supported by Payer” appears.
- If a payer does not support enhanced responses, the Pro link is not available, but it is visible. If you position your pointer over the “i” icon, a tooltip with the text “Not Supported by Payer” appears.

Note: If a payer does not support automated eligibility verifications at all, next to the payer’s name, “Does not accept Automated Eligibilities” appears.
