Adding Patient-specific Medications to Your Library

Released 10/15/25

Previously, when you were adding a medication to a patient, and the correct medication did not exist in your library, you could add the medication to the patient but not add it to your library. Now, when you are adding a patient-specific medication, there is an option that allows you to add the medication to your library, too.

To add a patient-specific medication to your library

1. On the Medical Alerts/ Medications tab of a patient’s Patient Information page, click Add Medication.

The Add Medication dialog box appears.
