When you perform a manual search, you can now choose to search by operatory availability only. Before, you had to search by operatory and provider availability. This change in functionality allows you to double-book a provider when you are viewing the results of a manual search for openings.
Also, the Date filter is now remembered for each Dentrix Ascend user. This means the specified date is the default for the next time you search for openings, regardless of which computer you use.
To search only by operatory availability, on the Search for Openings page, select operatories for the Which Operatories filter, but DO NOT select any providers for the Which Appointment Providers filter. If no providers are selected, a Provider column does not appear in the results.
Note: If at least one provider and one operatory are selected, the search finds openings based on operatory and provider availability (like before).
