Retain Visit When Moved to Another Case

Released 1/14/26

Previously, when a visit was moved from Case X to Case Y, the procedures in that visit were distributed to existing visits in Case Y, so you had to re-create the visit that was moved. Now, when procedures are moved from Case X (or from the “Unassigned” group) to Case Y, a new visit that contains those procedures is created at the end (in sequential order) of Case Y. Also, when an entire visit is moved from Case X to Case Y, a new visit is created at the end (in sequential order) of Case Y, and the structure of that visit (procedures, appointment length, scheduled status, and so forth) remains intact.

Note: As in previous versions, you can move visits and individual procedures between cases using two methods:

  • Selecting the visit or individual procedures in a case and then selecting the “Move To” option to select a different case.
  • Dragging the visit from one case to another.
