Providers Reviewing Patient Forms

While viewing a patient’s clinical record, a provider can now review clinically relevant information from a completed patient form and then mark that form as having been reviewed.

Changing a Form Setting

To enable the provider review workflow for a patient form, you must change a setting.

To enable the provider review workflow for a form

1. On the Settings menu, select Form Builder.

The Patient Forms page opens.

2. For a form, expand the Actions menu, and then select Settings.

3. Under Signature, turn on the Requires Provider Review switch.

4. Click Save & Close.

Reviewing a Form

When a patient completes a form with the provider review workflow enabled, you can view that form and mark it as having been reviewed.

To review a form

1. On the Chart tab of a patient’s clinical record, click Forms to view a list of forms (due, done, and review needed).

2. For a form with a status of “Review Needed,” click the Form Type link or the Status indicator.

Note: If you need to resend the form, click Resend Form, and ignore the remaining steps; otherwise, complete the remaining steps.

3. Review the clinically relevant information.

4. Select the reviewing provider from the Reviewing Provider list.

5. Click Reviewed.
