When a patient has primary and/or secondary dental insurance on file in Dentrix Ascend, that insurance information is pre-filled on any patient forms that have a section for entering insurance information, so the patient does not have to enter insurance information each time those forms need to be completed.
Example:
This patient has primary and secondary dental insurance.
This patient form has the “Dental Insurance Information” field.
The patient accesses the form online and selects Yes to the question about having dental insurance. The subscriber and insurance details are pre-filled for the primary plan.
The patient selects the Add secondary insurance option. The subscriber and insurance details are pre-filled for the secondary plan.
