On the Insurance Eligibility page (go to Schedule > Insurance Eligibility), if a patient has an active secondary insurance plan, a green shield icon with a 2 on it appears next to the name of the insurance plan. This indicator helps you know at a glance if another insurance plan for the patient needs to be checked for coverage eligibility; you do not have to interrupt your workflow on the Insurance Eligibility page by navigating to the patient’s Insurance Information page to see if the patient has secondary coverage.
