EARLY ACCESS ONLY
You can now filter the progress notes of the chairside dashboard view by tooth. You no longer have to select teeth on the odontogram of the Chart tab and then navigate to the Progress Notes tab to view only the procedures, conditions, and so forth that are related to specific teeth.
On the Chart tab, the following changes have been made to the View menu:
- At the top, Procedures has been renamed to Filter by.
- A Selected teeth option has been added.
With the Selected teeth option selected, if you select teeth on the odontogram while you are viewing the chairside dashboard, the following occurs:
- Only the items that pertain to the selected teeth appear on the progress notes panel.
- Only the images that pertain to the selected teeth appear on the images panel.
Also, with teeth selected on the Quick Exam tab, if you navigate to the Chart tab, those same teeth are selected on the odontogram on the Chart tab (as in previous versions). Now, in addition to the same teeth being selected, with the Selected teeth option selected, if you are viewing the chairside dashboard, the progress notes panel and images panel are filtered by tooth.
Notes:
- The Selected teeth option affects only the chairside dashboard. As in previous versions, if you select teeth on the odontogram on the Chart tab and then navigate to the Progress Notes tab, only the items that pertain to the selected teeth appear.
- With the Selected teeth option selected, if no teeth are selected on the odontogram, all items appear on the progress notes panel and images panel.
- With the Selected teeth option selected, if teeth are selected on the odontogram but no items pertain to the selected teeth, no items appear on the progress notes panel or the images panel.
- As in previous versions, the options on the View menu are computer (or device) and user specific.
