ERA Saved to Document Manager

When a claim that pertains to an ERA has been successfully matched to a claim in Dentrix Ascend either automatically or manually, a document with the ERA claim information is now saved in the corresponding patient’s Document Manager.

Notes:

  • The information is saved as a PDF in the Document Manager. The date of the document is the date the claim was matched. The “EOB” tag is attached to the document automatically.
  • If you delete a claim that was matched to a claim on an ERA, the corresponding document in the patient’s Document Manager is also deleted.

On the Bulk/ERA Insurance Payments page, while you are viewing a claim that pertains to an ERA, if the claim has been matched to a claim in Dentrix Ascend, and if the document with the ERA claim information has been added to the patient’s Document Manager, an ERA Document link appears at the top of the claim details. You can click the link to open the PDF document on a new browser tab.
