The American Dental Association has made updates to the Current Dental Terminology (CDT) that will go into effect on January 1, 2026. The following 53 changes to the standard set of procedure codes are applicable to Dentrix Ascend:
- 31 new procedure codes.
- 16 procedure codes with a revised/corrected “Description,” one of which also includes a change in treatment area (the ADA refers to 6 of these changes as “Editorial” changes).
- 6 deprecated/inactivated codes.
